Commodore CBM Time
For fashionably geeky former Vic20 and Commodore64 owners
Description:
Anyone remember Commodore Business Machines ? This watch is from their heyday back in the mid 1970s. Curiously, it is somewhat of an international watch with the case made in France but the module reporting days of the week using two character German abbreviations! This watch also features the unique ability to be set to one of three brightness levels with the brightest level being quite flashy.
The LED display is one of the later designs with built in magnifying lenses over each digit which makes the watch difficult to read from the side.
Condition:
This watch is in good condition. The case, time screen, and bracelet all have some minor marks as can be seen in the photo. Overall, though, it looks good and is quite shiny. The case back is very good with two little noticeable scratches.
Case: Good.
The case is in good condition with minor scratches and nicks from normal use. It's mirror polished and quite shiny.
Face / Hands: Excellent.
All LED digits and segments are complete and bright.
Crystal: Good.
The plastic crystal is smooth and mostly scratch free. Unfortunately, the Commodore logo is faded (but still clearly visible).
Band / Bracelet: Very good.
The original bracelet is quite good with just minor scratches. It is complete and fits an 8" wrist.
Function / Accuracy: Excellent.
All functions work perfectly. Digital quartz accuracy.
