This wristwatch is a bit of a mystery. There's not much information available about it. The back and clasp are inscribed "MTV Networks" and the front crystal is marked "EMA 97". From this we can deduce that it is somehow related to the Electronic Music Awards from 1997.

In terms of the design, this model is similar to another uncommon model that was marked "Madison" on the crystal. The case is inexpensive plastic, as is the crystal and the red translucent bracelet links.

To read the time, you need to make sure to look at the wristwatch directly face on because the LED digits are covered by plastic microlenses which magnify the size of the digits but also make them difficult to read from the side.

Overall, is a very simple, unpretentious, fun, and lightweight wristwatch with just a bit of mystery.

The original bracelet is excellent and fits a large 8.25" wrist. The clasp is perfect with no scratches or marks.
