Pulsar P4 Dress (Stainless)
A Pulsar intended for wearing with a suit
Description:

The Pulsar P4 dress model was designed to be small enough to fit easily under the cuff of a suit. While I'm sure it looks great with a suit, it looks great with just about anything including denim. Today, very large watches are in vogue and the relatively small size of the P4 dress may appear to some "macho" types as a bit effeminate. However, in the 1970s, the modest size of this model was a mark of sophistication and style.
The P4 Dress models were available in stainless, gold filled and solid 14KT gold by special order.
The P4 dress model uses the same module as the P4 ladies' model except that the LED digits are larger. The P4 dress model may be the most "wearable" of all Pulsar models due to its smaller size and weight, its comfortable bracelet and its large, bright digits.
The Pulsar P4 dress model was introduced in the spring of 1975 with a magnet set module. Later models used an autoset module which can be set by pressing the command buttons three times in quick succession rather than using the magnet. This example is a later model and therefore uses the autoset module. The stainless steel models are significantly rarer than the gold filled models with only about 10% as many stainless models having been produced.

Case: Very good.
The case is in very good condition with just minor scratches visible on the front bezel and case back. Since the front bezel is polished shiny, any small marks are visible. The sides of the case are almost perfect with the original machining intact.
Face / Hands: Excellent.
All LED digits and segments are complete and bright.
Crystal: Good.
The red mineral glass crystal has various minor scratches and a few tiny very tiny nicks along the edges. The Pulsar logo is complete and sharp.
Band / Bracelet: Very good.
This fine segmented bracelet is in very good condition with minor scratches but no kinks or bent links as are common with these somewhat delicate bracelets. Because of the large number of tiny segments, these bracelets feel silky smooth on the wrist and are exceptionally comfortable.
Function / Accuracy: Excellent.
All functions work perfectly. Digital quartz accuracy. Actually, since quartz crystals actually improve with age and the original Pulsar accuracy was a phenomenal 30 seconds per year, these vintage Pulsars usually keep time better than most modern quartz watches!
